Just a couple of things to catch up on. Whilst in the office today I had a quick look at a blog where the blogger had gone to Branston pits to see the Wood Sandpiper and Spotted Redshank and found them. I now realise what pit they were on and its a bit of the pit I did not check for fear or frightening the birds. Never mind.
On the Bird forum front the thread to read is Birding in Staffordshire. Ive never had such a laugh, the next time a big un turns up in Staffs there will be fights galore between the birders.
All in all tragic but funny.
