Birds noted were Tree Sparrow, Wood Pigeon 358 noted over the whole site, Robin, Black-headed Gull, Starling a couple of hundred were gathering to roost, Lapwing 157 were on the quarry edge and 20 more were in the field neat Sittles Farm and then a flock of around 400 lifted from the quarry before dusk, Magpie 34 counted over the site, Teal 4, Wigeon 127, Mallard 6, Pochard 71, Gadwall 2, Tufted Duck 8, Pied Wagtail 6, Chaffinch, Lesser Black-backed Gull and a Song Thrush. From here it was around the lanes.
