Christmas shopping day today but managed to get around Whitemoor Haye first. Birds noted on and around the pool were Wren, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, Wigeon, Tufted Duck, Great Crested Grebe, Pochard, Black Headed Gull, Pheasant, Robin, Starling, Goldfinch, Blackbird, Lesser Black-backed Gull and Siskin. Around the lanes I added Tree Sparrow, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Long-tailed Tit, Little Owl, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Reed Bunting, 246 Mut Swan, Lapwing, Golden Plover, Buzzard, Kestrel, Linnet, Fieldfare and Cormorant.
