15-12-11, Rudyard Lake.

A drake Eider turned up at the weekend on the lake. There are various posts on Bird Forum about the bird possibly being an escapee or something but it looks like the bird is the genuine article. Funnily enough I had to do a site visit to Rudyard (!!!!!) so whilst I was there I couldnt resist adding to my Staffordshire list. Unfortunately I forgot my bins but I could make out the bird in the middle of the lake.
