8-1-12, Whitemoor Haye.

With a hungover girlfriend in tow I spent the morning steadily ambling around Whitemoor. We decided to check out the lanes first for a change. Birds noted were Collared Dove, Robin, Wren, Blue Tit, Carrion Crow, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Starling, Dunnock, Mute Swan - I tried to count them but they were quite flighty due to a few hunters arounf the quarry), Blackbird, Canada Geese, Black Headed Gull, Tree Sparrow, Great Tit, Skylark, Fieldfare, Lapwing, Stock Dove, Linnet, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Cormorant and Corn Bunting. Very quiet. Onto the pool area and I only added 3 Tufted Duck, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Wigeon and a single Goldeneye. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went home to chill and watch the FA cup.
