A Wood Warbler has been showing and singing his ace song here for a few days. Unfortunately I have never heard the bird singing, fortunately I had my ipod with me and listened to the song before walking around the car park and adjacent areas hunting this cracking little gem of a bird. Birds noted were Willow Warbler, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Wren and Nuthatch. Walking near the car park I suddenly heard the song of the Wood Warbler and five minutes later I was the bird. Other birds noted were Chaffinch, Blackcap, Woodpigeon, Chiffchaff and Buzzard.
