Ok, it looks like I've dropped a big clanger. Been out birding today, will fill in the details sometime over the weekend, and whilst on a break I had a look at some pics of a Collared Pratincole in flight. I am 100% sure the bird I saw fly over the pertol station was the Collared Pratincole, without a doubt. However there arer suspicious minds at work out there and by declaring that I have seen it I know what people will say, therefore it will stay off my list and I hope one turns up very local very soon. Next time it will be more haste, less speed when entering my posts and do the homework first before putting the news out.
